Chapter One :Chapter 1

"I’m really back?"

Looking at the tall buildings around him and the plane flying overhead, Ethan Walker couldn’t hide his joy. "No doubt about it—this is Earth. I’m back!"

He used to be an earthly businessman, smart, capable. After college, he started a company with his close buddy, Kaden Foster. Business took off fast, and he even had a stunning girlfriend.

But just when he thought life was perfect, Kaden pushed him off a cliff during a hiking trip.

“Ethan, blame yourself for being too trusting,” Kaden had sneered before shoving him. “Why should a guy like you get the success, the looks, and the girl? Once you’re out of the picture, the company’s mine—and Ava Curling too. Rest in hell!”

As Kaden’s laughter echoed, Ethan tumbled down. Miraculously, he survived. A woman found him and saved him.

But the fall wrecked his legs—he was crippled for life.

He gave up then. Most days he just drank. But one drunken night, he ended up with the woman who had saved him.

Soon after, their daughter Lily was born.

Ethan accepted his fate. He married her and planned to live quietly in that village.

But fate wasn’t done with him. His wife died in a car crash. The driver was never caught.

Devastated, Ethan spiraled. His temper got worse. He lashed out—mostly at Lily. If things upset him, he’d beat or scold her.

He started gambling and drinking harder. Debt piled up. He was even close to selling Lily to pay it off.

One day, loan sharks caught him, beat him senseless. That was the end of Ethan Walker.

But death wasn’t the end after all.

He woke up in a place called Tianlong Continent—a brutal world ruled by power.

Luckily, Ethan had always loved fantasy novels. He knew the rules: train hard enough, and you could reverse time.

"Wife, Lily... I don’t care how long it takes—I’ll see you again."

Fueled by anger and guilt, Ethan trained. A thousand years of pain and growth turned him into the God Emperor—the strongest in the land.

With everything he had, he activated the time-reversal array. He’d spent a millennium chasing that moment.

Just as the ritual finished, a bolt of lightning tore through the sky. Ethan thought it was over. But when he opened his eyes—he was back.

Back to the day he died.

“Lily… where’s Lily?”

He looked around. He’d been in the hospital, after being beaten half to death.

Then he saw her—his little girl curled up in the corner of the room, staring at him with frightened eyes.

“Lily…”

"Daddy... please, don’t sell me."

That cut deeper than the fall ever did.

How could he—how could he ever have done that to his own daughter?Thinking back, Ethan Walker wanted to punch himself in the face.

What did Lily ever do wrong?

"Ugh..."

"Dad, I’ll eat less and help out more. I won’t cost you much. When I get a bit older, I’ll go out and earn money..."

Lily’s voice trembled as she spoke, barely above a whisper.

Hearing this, Ethan's heart twisted with guilt and pain.

What kind of father had he become?

*Smack!*

He slapped himself hard across the face, then looked at Lily with remorse in his eyes.

“Sweetheart, I was wrong. Give me one more chance to make things right, okay?”

It was already December. The cold bit through the air, but Lily was curled up in the corner, shivering in nothing but a short-sleeved shirt.

Ethan’s heart bled. He wasn’t a man—he was a monster.

“Please, baby... give your dad a chance. I’ll treat you right from now on.”

He knelt before her. That kneel wasn’t just for Lily—he knelt for his late wife too. He'd failed them both.

Seeing him on his knees, Lily bit her lip, hesitated, then slowly walked toward him.

“Daddy…”

Ethan pulled her into a tight hug, tears streaming down his face.

“Lily, I’ll work hard. From now on, I’ll give you a better life.”

He had been reborn by the heavens. The mistakes of the past life—he’d fix them. The grudges—he’d settle them.

“Don’t cry, Daddy. I believe you,” Lily said gently, reaching up with her tiny hand to wipe his tears. She smiled faintly.

Ethan nodded.

Just then, a nurse in a white coat rushed in, looking anxious.

“Ethan Walker, you’re panda blood, right? There’s a patient who urgently needs a transfusion. Her family’s offering 300,000 as a reward!”

Ethan hesitated. Normally he wouldn’t have paid attention. But 300,000?

He was broke. It didn’t matter for him, but Lily still needed to eat, to grow. Soon she’d have to start school. All of it needed money.

No money—no hope.

“Is the 300,000 real?” Ethan asked, eyes narrowing.

“Of course! The patient's the daughter of the Mitchell Group’s CEO. As long as you help save her, 300,000 is nothing. You might even get more.”

The nurse quickly assured him.

Ethan fell quiet for a moment, then said, “Alright. Let’s go.”

The nurse hurriedly led Ethan and Lily out.

Ethan was still weaker than a sack of bones, limping badly.

Giving blood in this condition? Not ideal. But he had no cash. No choice.

A former Wudi, now this? What a joke.

Whatever. He clenched his teeth and pushed forward.

They reached the VIP ward on the eighth floor. The hallway was packed with men in fancy suits, looking all-important.

“Dr. Smith, we found someone with panda blood!”

The nurse pointed at Ethan.

Dr. Smith glanced at Ethan—messy hair, plain clothes. Just a broke man. He snorted coldly.

“A broke guy with panda blood? Is he here to scam us or what?”

“What did you just say?!”Ethan Walker’s face darkened the moment he heard that, fury burning in his eyes.
